Merchandise Coordinator

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Merchandise Coordinator within our Merchandising division. The merchandise team at VGW is dedicated to corporate merchandise strategies for our employees and marketing merchandise initiatives for our players, along with various company-driven projects.

The Merchandise Coordinator will play a crucial role in optimizing the planning, execution, and availability of merchandise for VGW and our associated brands. This position is essential in facilitating the creation and distribution of promotional merchandise that resonates with our players, aligns with our diverse brand identities, and enhances the overall player experience.

This opportunity is ideal for an individual with experience in merchandise retail or for those in roles such as Allocator, Buyers Assistant, or Production Assistant seeking to advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist in all merchandise-related functions.
  • Coordinate merchandise procurement, including the creation, tracking, and processing of orders from suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure that merchandise adheres to quality standards and specifications.
  • Assist in the ongoing management of our online merchandise platforms where players can collect their items.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandise Manager to confirm and organize allocated merchandise for player and corporate initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in allocations, purchasing, or production is considered beneficial.
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Logical thinker with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Data-driven mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, or a related discipline is preferred.
