Our team is seeking Correctional Officers to join us in NSW correctional facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for individuals who can supervise and manage inmates effectively, including during meals, headcounts, and movements.
  • Able to keep a close eye on inmate safety and security risks, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • We need candidates who can search cells or common areas regularly to maintain a secure environment.
  • Supervising activities like work programs or visits is also a key part of this role.
What We Offer:
  • A comprehensive 12-week paid training course will be provided.
  • A competitive base salary of $72,962 p.a. plus superannuation and penalty rates is offered.
  • Candidates will receive six weeks of annual leave per year.
  • The opportunity to earn a nationally recognised Certificate III in Correctional Practice is available.

Requirements:
  • A minimum age of 18 years is required.
  • A current driver's licence is necessary.
  • Candidates must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, or Permanent Resident.
  • Willingness to complete the Certificate III in Correctional Practice is essential.
  • Candidates must meet medical standards to become a Correctional Officer and maintain a reasonable level of fitness.
