Garment Production Supervisor

We are a leading school and sports clothing manufacturer and retailer with an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Garment Technician/Fashion Designer to join our team.

The role involves collaborating with the design team, assisting in order preparation for factories, liaising with the sales team, and working closely with production staff to ensure seamless operations.

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop new products;
  • Assist in preparing orders for factories;
  • Liaise with the sales team to source garments and factories;
  • Work proactively with production staff to maintain a complete product range;
  • Supervise and assist in developing other production and QC staff;
  • Participate in regular partnership and production meetings;
  • Identify and suggest process improvements;
  • Assist in developing school uniform guideline visuals;
  • Manage offshore factory relationships for positive delivery outcomes;
  • Perform quality checking on products;
  • Create patterns and grades for garments;
  • Repair and alter garments as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Sewing and alteration skills;
  • Pattern making and grading skills;
  • Garment assembly expertise;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Solid understanding of general production processes;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Experience within the school wear industry is desirable but not essential.
