We are a school and sports clothing manufacturer and retailer who currently have an exciting Garment Technician/Fashion Designer opportunity available.
- Full Time position
- Located in Somersby, Central Coast

**Position Summary**:
To be successful in this position you will be proficient in Excel and Word, highly developed communication skills and attention to detail.

**Duties may include**:

- Collaborate with design team for new product
- Assist with Preparation of orders to factories
- Assist and liaise with Sales team including sourcing garments and factories if required
- Proactively work with Production on complete product range
- Supervision and assist and develop other Production and QC staff
- Participation in regular Partnership and Production Meetings
- Identify/suggest process and product improvements
- Assist with Development of school uniform guideline visuals
- Managing offshore factory relationships for positive delivery outcomes
- Product Quality Checking
- Pattern Making
- Grading Patterns
- Repairs and alterations to garments

**To be suitable for this position you must**:

- Sewing and Alteration Skills
- Pattern Making and Grading
- Garment Assembly
- Strong computer skills
- Sound knowledge of general production processes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience within the school wear industry would be an advantage, but not essential
- Be well presented
- Be articulate and able to communicate effectively
- Have a strong personality
- A willingness to contribute and be a part of a fast-paced team
- Be willing to learn and be passionate about the opportunity to further develop your skills
