Terminal Operations Manager

Chevron Australia Downstream (CAD) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Terminal Manager to lead our Eagle Farm Terminal in Brisbane, Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day operational activities, including product receipts, tank farm operations, loading rack operations, quality control, terminal maintenance, and stock control.
This is a permanent role that requires a strong focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency. The Terminal Manager will lead a team of 11 direct reports and interface with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and role model the desired HSE behaviors and implement and steward the HSE Management System.
- Accountable for the motivation and direction of terminal personnel and contractors, covering work execution, performance management, and staff welfare.
- Interface with internal stakeholders, including Supply, Transport, Maintenance, and Engineering, as well as external stakeholders, such as Port Company, Regulators, Counterparties, and Contractors.
- Responsible for delivering the Annual Operating Plan and associated Terminal KPIs, covering cost management, safety, efficiency, and people.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance and Engineering Team for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance and projects.
- Manage people matters, including training, competence verification, managing leave and shift coverage, performance management, and building future organization capability.
We are looking for a motivated and talented individual with a keen interest in the energy industry. The successful candidate will have:
- 10 years of facility operations experience, preferably in a Dangerous Goods Facility.
- 5 years of experience leading teams.
- Technical qualification or degree desired.
- Intermediate Windows/Microsoft Suite skills required.
