Safety Specialist

NES Fircroft is seeking a passionate EHS Advisor to join their team.
You will be required to travel between 2 or 3 wind farms and take ownership of site safety for the duration of servicing requirements. Join a leading energy company and drive a strong safety culture across operations.
About the Role:
- Conduct risk assessments and site inspections
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
- Lead safety training and awareness programs
- Support incident investigations and reporting
- Drive continuous improvement in EHS practices
About You:
- Proven experience in an EHS role
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Relevant EHS qualifications
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Contract Details:
- 3-6 month contract
- Potential for long-term permanency
- Must be willing to travel regularly
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site-specific EHS plans and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of site safety metrics and performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS procedures and best practices
