About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chain of Responsibility Specialist to join our team. As a Chain of Responsibility Specialist, you will play a key role in overseeing, providing guidance and support to operational teams to deliver our Compliance program and identify continual improvements for the business.

In this role, you will develop and deliver the Compliance Program which includes Chain of Responsibility. You will also undertake performance reporting and verification activities. Your work will help strengthen our safety culture, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement across Environment, Health and Safety.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Conduct and oversee Compliance audits to identify improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of programs.
  • Manage external relationships with service providers and suppliers.
  • Champion Compliance improvement projects through the capital planning process.
  • Partner with the Assurance Manager to develop and implement the Compliance Program.
  • Assess compliance with safety regulations and internal standards, recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain and support safety management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Compliance key performance indicators.
  • Stay up to date with relevant safety regulations and ensure organisational compliance.
  • Support the broader Environment, Health and Safety agenda across the business.

About You :

  • You must have formal qualifications in logistics, health and safety (degree preferred).
  • You should have formal qualification / certification in auditing highly regarded.
  • You should have experience in Chain of Responsibility and heavy vehicle compliance legislation.
  • You should have 5–8 years' experience within medium to large organisations in COR or EHS.
  • You should be well-developed in facilitation, organisational agility, interpersonal skills and change management capability.
  • Experience in auditing and / or training is highly regarded.
  • You should have strong working knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations.

Please note that regular monthly interstate travel may be required.
