Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

This position is responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials at optimal costs, fostering strong relationships with suppliers, and effectively managing inventory across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Purchasing raw materials strategically while maintaining supply chain security and minimizing costs
  • Evaluating and assessing suppliers in accordance with c-GMP standards to ensure quality and reliability
  • Negotiating terms and pricing agreements to achieve annual savings targets
  • Ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase orders
  • Monitoring and controlling stock levels across sites to maintain minimum stock thresholds
  • Developing and implementing effective stock control procedures
  • Daily reconciliation of stock movements and production returns
  • Providing regular updates on stock levels to management
  • Liaising with suppliers regarding lead times, deliveries, and any issues
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Winman advantageous)
  • Excellent analytical and stock control abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive, quality-focused, and adaptable approach
