About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide life-changing therapy to NDIS participants in the Ballarat and surrounding areas. This full-time or part-time (4 days per week) position offers a unique opportunity to work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
Your Everyday- As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, you'll work in a collaborative environment, utilizing assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding.
- You'll build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, utilizing positive behaviour support framework.
- Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
- You'll have the opportunity to tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.

We're seeking individuals who resonate with our values and can seamlessly integrate into our dynamic environment. To work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you'll need:
- Deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (evidence of letter required).
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological/Social Science or related field).
You'll also need a positive and flexible approach to work, strong communication skills, commitment to personal and professional growth, a valid Australian drivers license, NDIS Workers Screening Check, and Working with Childrens Check.
