Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Healthcarelink Support. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Immunisations and Injections: Administer immunisations and injections to patients, ensuring accurate and safe administration.
- Triage: Assess and manage patient triage, prioritizing urgent cases and providing timely interventions.
- Wound Management: Provide comprehensive wound management, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Chronic Disease Management: Develop and implement care plans for patients with chronic diseases, ensuring effective management and coordination of care.
- ECGs: Perform and interpret ECGs, providing accurate and timely results.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and self-care, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
- Care Planning: Assist with care planning and shared health summaries, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Telehealth Consultations: Participate in telehealth consultations, providing remote patient care and support.
- Clinical Procedures: Assist doctors with clinical procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation.
- Treatment Room Coordination: Coordinate the daily activities of the treatment room, ensuring efficient and safe care delivery.
- Infection Control: Implement and maintain infection control practices, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Practice Management: Assist with reception and practice management duties, supporting the smooth operation of the practice.
- Qualifications: Current AHPRA registration, current police check, current working with children clearance, current first aid/CPR certificate, immunisation record, and driving license or photo ID.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a caring and collaborative approach to patient care, proven multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Experience: Experience and knowledge of care plans and health assessments, use of Best Practice programs preferred.
