About the Role
  • Lead the financial operations of Essity Australasia, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and accounts payable functions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including external audits.
  • Oversee general ledger functions and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership to support business initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in financial systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA qualification preferred).
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, BPC, AARO, and Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
