About the role:

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Hobart Practice.

The successful candidate will have significant design experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects, lead initiatives, and mentor fellow engineers.

This pivotal role involves supporting the Structures team in project management, workload delegation, and client interfacing. You will work closely with the Structural team and quickly gain exposure to projects and clients locally, as well as our team and projects across Australia.

You will be responsible for undertaking varied engineering tasks as part of a project team, successfully delivering to our clients' requirements. You will have the opportunity to run projects independently and gain experience which will lead you to a more senior role.

We are looking for someone with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in conveying technical information effectively to all stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
  • Typically, years of relevant industry experience.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant local and Australian standards and practices
  • CPEng status is highly desirable
