Job Summary

As a Distribution Operator, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our Camellia Distribution Centre. You will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles with an 8-tonne quad Tyne forklift as part of goods inwards/outwards process.

About the Role
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with an 8-tonne quad Tyne forklift to ensure efficient and accurate movement of goods.
  • Some manual handling to assemble loads as required, ensuring Chain of Responsibility requirements are met.
  • Participate in stock take functions and inventory control to maintain accurate records and optimize stock levels.
  • Maintain compliance to our Management System and relevant procedures to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Check and process orders with diligence and accuracy to ensure validity and compliance within our system.
  • Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience within the Distribution & logistics Industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience using SAP would be highly desirable.
  • Experience with RF scanners preferrable.
  • Valid forklift licence and physical fitness required.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment medical.
