Yooralla is seeking a passionate and positive relationship builder to join our team as a part-time or full-time Adult Speech Pathologist.

This fulfilling role will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to adults with disabilities to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver therapy in clients' homes, educational settings, or in the community, aimed at supporting clients to achieve their goals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and their families to promote overall health and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
  • Provide indirect client service and family coordination to support client goals.

About You:

You'll be an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage people with disabilities, motivate them, and build their capability.

You'll have experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model, the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families, and a willingness to improve on your clinical practice.

  • Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable).
  • Competency in various IT platforms, particularly client management systems.
  • Australian driver's license and own vehicle (required).
