Executive Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Executive Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the payroll operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of monthly salaried payroll.
Key Responsibilities:- Process allocated monthly salaried payroll, including leave reconciliations, salary adjustments, and terminations with precision and efficiency.
- Set up new starters and manage offboarding in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support the integrity of payroll ledgers by implementing robust controls and checks.
- Respond to payroll queries from across the organization, providing expert guidance to managers and employees.
- Prepare and distribute detailed payroll costing reports to business units to inform strategic decision-making.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, promoting best practice and continuous learning.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements, system enhancements, and optimisation initiatives within payroll operations.
- Extensive payroll experience, ideally 3+ years in large corporate or operational environments.
- Expertise in monthly salaried payroll processing and related reporting.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, and best practices.
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Experience with enterprise payroll systems such as SAP, Kronos, or similar.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume payroll and support business-wide payroll operations.
