HR Business Partner Role Overview

We are seeking an HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational support to our Practice Groups. The successful candidate will offer pragmatic and tailored generalist HR leadership and employment relations advice, based on industry best practice standards.

The HR Business Partner will work closely with Practice Group Leaders and Partners across Australia, establishing strong and trusted relationships with approximately 20 Partners. They will provide a tailored approach to meet their respective needs.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coaching and supporting Partners in areas such as culture, engagement, leadership, performance, talent development, and communication.
  • Providing technical and commercial advice to Partners and Managers on employee relations issues, employment rights, and obligations.
  • Managing the people operations of respective business units, working with the HR Coordinator to ensure accurate and successful employee lifecycle changes.
  • Partnering with the HR Manager, Australia, and Head of HR, APAC, on annual processes such as remuneration reviews, talent mapping, promotional cycles, and other ad hoc processes.
  • Taking a lead role in exciting transformation projects, such as an Engagement Project and HRIS rollout.
  • Helping champion initiatives relating to diversity and inclusion, talent acquisition, induction practices, performance planning, learning and development, employee recognition, health safety, and wellbeing.
