The Senior Human Resource Business Partner is a critical role within the organization, responsible for acting as the focal point of all people-related matters for the Construction Materials business unit.

This individual will support the business unit General Managers and senior managers in HR strategic, advisory, and operational services. A business partnering approach will be adopted, partnering with senior leadership to provide HR strategic, advisory, and operational support to managers and employees across the employment life cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Support management and employees in interpreting and adhering to applicable industrial instruments, policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring compliance with best practices.
  • Provide relevant HR data and analytics to BU leaders to inform decision-making.

In conjunction with the Group HR Manager, this role will develop new and review existing people-related policies, procedures, practices, and processes, ensuring alignment to legislative requirements and best practice.

A tertiary qualification in Human Resources; Business; Management or a related discipline is required, or demonstrated experience in generalist HR roles (minimum 8 years). This individual must have strong knowledge of contemporary HR strategies and practices, including performance management and employee relations experience.

Additionally, high-level coaching skills at both an organizational and individual level are essential, as well as strong communication skills. The ability to manage competing priorities efficiently and maintain confidentiality is also necessary.
