Job Title: Industrial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Operations Specialist to join our team in Brisbane.

This is a temporary 6-month contract role that requires the successful candidate to operate safely and efficiently from the Central Control Room (CCR) as part of the Arrow Operations Centre.

  1. Competently operate Surat Basin assets including CSG wells, gas and water gathering networks, gas processing and compression, gas transmission, water treatment facilities and Power generation.
  2. Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model our values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
  3. Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
  4. Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
  5. Ensure safe on-site operations of gas compression, water treatment and power generation assets with the aim to maximise availability and production.
  6. Optimise production process to ensure sales gas and water specifications are met.
  7. Maximise the utilisation of our Surat assets to meet production targets/nominations.
  8. Provide technical support and stand-in as the Senior Control Room Operator to provide coverage as required.

This position is based in Brisbane and may require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

Applicants should have previous operational experience working in heavy industry, complex continuous process plant, ideally within oil and gas. Relevant qualifications such as a Cert III PMA08 Process Plant Operation or UEG30211 Certificate III in Gas Supply Industry Operations, or Cert IV PMA08 Process Plant Technology (or PMA 40113); OR Trade Certificate in Instrument, Electrical or Mechanical Fitting would be highly regarded.
