About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to lead the Planning function for the Tunnels area of the Suburban Rail Loop East project. As a key member of our Planning team, you will play a critical role in delivering a city-shaping project that will enable a more sustainable way to live, move, and work in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning expertise and develop knowledge to coordinate Time, Performance, Cost, Risk, and Change management systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Actively look for and lead continuous improvement initiatives in Controls and Planning practices and technologies.
  • Maintain standards and processes for the assessment and approval of programs and elevate any identified risks and issues with subcontractors to the Business and Systems Manager and/or Construction Manager as appropriate.
  • Support the Planning Manager through the provision of progress reports for presentation to the Project Management Team.
  • Ensure compliance with the project's policies, objectives, and statutory requirements.
  • Record and analyze KPIs and recommend areas of improvement to the C&P team.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated 3 to 7 years of project delivery experience in infrastructure or building.
  • 4+ years' experience in Tender, delivery, and strategic planning.
  • Proven competency with current industry-standard planning software, including Primavera P6, OPRA, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, Synchro, Navisworks, SketchUp, TILOS, and Chainlink.
  • Relevant Engineering degree.
