About the Role

The Records Officer is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of Council's records, ensuring they are accessible and compliant with regulatory requirements. This role involves managing the Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), providing training to staff, and ensuring the Right to Information and Information Privacy obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the EDRMS system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Provide training and support to staff on EDRMS and records management
  • Ensure compliance with Right to Information and Information Privacy obligations
  • Develop and implement records management policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Experience with SharePoint and EDRMS systems
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in a local government setting
  • High-level computing skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
