Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Community Registered Nurse. As a key member of our community care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to our clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 in-home nursing care, including wound and catheter care and insertion, to Home Care Package and Short-Term Restorative Care clients.
- Working remotely throughout your community to ensure efficient daily workload planning, including travel, documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our clients.
- Ensuring seamless communication with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably with a focus on aged care.
- Experience with continence assessments, catheter insertion/care, and wound care.
- Genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current and unrestricted Australian driver's license and ability to travel using own vehicle.
- Current vehicle registration including compulsory third-party personal injury insurance.
- Vaccine certification in accordance with legislative requirements.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary banding between $78,428 to $98,046 plus 11.5% super.
- Salary packaging up to $15,899 tax-free annually.
- Meal and Entertainment Card up to $2,650 of your pre-tax income per.
- KM reimbursement at 99c per km.
