Shape the future of power transmission and distribution systems as a Senior Distribution Design Engineer. This pivotal role involves leading-edge technology and innovative solutions.

About the Role
  • Lead and oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of power distribution systems for utilities.
  • Develop detailed engineering plans, including system layouts, equipment selection, and electrical design calculations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge of distribution networks, including 11kV, 22kV, and 66kV overhead and underground lines.

  • Minimum of 2 years of Overhead Line Design experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, NEARA, and/or N'Poles.
  • Sound knowledge of engineering standards, regulations, and procedures preferably within a Distribution network environment.

To succeed in this role, you'll need excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
