Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Perth CBD

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in distribution design both underground and overhead to join a leading engineering consultancy on a permanent, full-time basis in Perth CBD Office.

This is a key technical leadership position that will see you working on UG/OH distribution design for both greenfield and brownfield utility and mining projects.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Deep knowledge of electrical distribution systems
  • Expertise in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD
  • Experience in designing and developing electrical distribution networks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overhead distribution design modelling 415V to 33kV
  • Underground distribution extensions
  • Underground distribution network upgrades
  • Site inspections, including preparation of design packages for client approval
  • Preparation of bills of materials and estimation
  • Training and support of junior team members
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
