Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Director to join our Restructuring team in Sydney, who is passionate about growing and developing their career in a collaborative and supportive environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operational and administrative management of both restructuring and insolvency engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients to develop and execute restructuring and insolvency strategies tailored to their unique needs.
  • Lead and manage engagement teams, overseeing multiple workstreams to ensure efficiency and quality delivery.
  • Analyse financial data meticulously, assessing various options, and crafting well-founded recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct thorough research on target companies and prepare compelling pitch documents.
  • Participate in business development efforts and promotional activities to expand the firm's reach.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the team, promoting creativity and innovation to address client challenges effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous learning and development of yourself and your team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging practices, adapting strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Possess structured problem-solving skills, demonstrating a logical, disciplined approach to deconstructing problems into their core issues.
