Youth Mental Health Specialist

Orygen is seeking an experienced Online Youth Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This full-to-part-time, ongoing position will provide you with the opportunity to work with a world-leading youth mental health digital solution and contribute to the development of innovative programs that promote optimal mental health outcomes for young people.
Job Summary
The Online Youth Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for supporting young people using the MOST platform, engaging them in clinical content and social features, and monitoring their safety on the platform. You will also participate in duty shift rotations to provide assessment and care coordination for users in critical situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage young people onto the MOST platform, providing regular contact via messaging or phone
- Maintain accurate records of young people's engagement and monitor their safety on the platform
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for MOST users as needed and participate in duty shift rotations
- Collaborate with peer and vocational workers to enhance the MOST model for supporting young people

Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatric Nursing, or Social Work and full registration with AHPRA or eligibility with AASW
- Experience working in clinical settings within the Western Australian youth mental health system
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, problem solve, and risk manage in relation to young people's treatment
