Commercial Operations Intern, Energy Retail Operations

Tesla is seeking a Commercial Operations Intern to support our growing Commercial Operations team.

This internship will provide invaluable insights into the energy industry, particularly in retail electricity operations. You will work closely with multiple departments to optimise processes and drive efficiency across our operations.

You will assist in day-to-day operations of B2B and B2C retail activities, focusing on customer account management, data accuracy, and service order execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting projects related to customer account data, service orders, and operational improvements
  • Working closely with teams such as Engineering, Compliance, Finance, and Customer Support to enhance operational efficiency
  • Reviewing and maintaining existing standard operating procedures

You will bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in an operational role, preferably within the technology or energy sector
  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships across multiple functions and teams
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented individual with a proactive attitude
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data management
  • Technological aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organisational skills
  • Fluent English communication skills

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum (estimated). Note that salary may vary based on location and other factors.
