Occupational Therapist Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our team of therapists in a leadership role.

The organisation provides rehabilitation services to individuals with neurological conditions, offering home visits and community-based programs.

This leadership position involves managing the Occupational Therapy team, including over 30 therapists across seven locations in Melbourne, Geelong, Albury/Wodonga, and Hobart. The role also includes managing a small clinic caseload in home, community, and rehabilitation settings.

As a leader, you will be responsible for guiding your team to provide high-quality care to individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of occupational therapists
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Valid Australian working rights; overseas applicants considered
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Successful candidates will need to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening
  • Experience with the NDIS system is desirable
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Full COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations
