Animal Care Specialist

As a dedicated Animal Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with small animals and native wildlife in a rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care.
  • Perform minor procedures when required.
  • Maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone, including booking appointments and giving advice.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent with a minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Australian work rights (482 or Working Holiday Visa holders).
  • Strong communication skills and a calm and friendly presence with a team player attitude.
