Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver strategic financial analysis and advice to support informed decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and manage effective budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and enhanced financial performance.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support long-term financial planning and strategy development.
  • Lead and mentor junior finance team members to achieve team objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial matters.
Requirements
  • A strong background in accounting and finance, preferably within the public sector.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA accreditation (or equivalent) is highly regarded.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
