Road Construction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced road construction specialist to join our team in Queensland, Australia.
- Sub-contractor management will be a key responsibility of the role.
- Closely coordinate with the project engineer to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor and record project progress to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Mandatory Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in the civil construction of transport and road infrastructure projects is essential.
- Experience in interpreting and applying policies, legislation, technical guidelines, practices and procedures to TMR policies, standards, and specifications is required.
- A stable career history with reputable civil contractors is highly valued.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Hold relevant tickets and licenses to perform the duties of the role.
- Contribute proactively to the HSE obligations and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A Civil Engineering Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution is required.
The proposed hours are nominally 40 per week, although no guarantee there won't be more or less hours due to project demands. The roles are based in Queensland, Australia.
