Role Overview

This is a leadership position in the Private Banking Business Units and Strategy & Insights team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing long-term strategies and identifying areas of opportunity for growth and improvement.

Key responsibilities include supporting the development of business cases for strategic initiatives, leading the annual investment planning cycle, and monitoring key performance indicators relating to both strategic investments and broader business operations.

  • Support senior management with work required from Finance partners and stakeholders.">
  • Develop commercial and strategic models for the Private Banking business unit.">
  • Manage the development of the PB Dashboard, leveraging insights to inform actions and changes to strategy and metrics, while maintaining a backlog of work to continually improve and enhance the dashboard.">
  • Act as a business partner to the Private Banking domains and support the review and prioritization of investments that offer the highest commercial returns and outcomes to customers and colleagues.">
  • Review, consolidate, and report on the Private Banking investment portfolio and progress of strategic initiatives.">
  • Track and report commercial, customer, and colleague outcomes delivered by initiatives.">
  • Provide key contact for any Private Banking portfolio and investment planning related activities.">

Requirements

">

The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in portfolio management, corporate finance/investment planning, strategy, and reporting. They will also have a background in strategy, business case development, and financial modeling, as well as experience in coordinating investment planning across business units and cross-functionally.

Strong knowledge of portfolio governance principles and frameworks is essential, ensuring portfolio priorities align to strategy. Experience in developing performance reporting to assess portfolio performance/ROI for strategic initiatives is also critical.

Advanced Microsoft skills for executive-level presentation are required, along with the ability to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders and support the coordination of annual investment planning, funding submissions, and monitoring activities.
