As a technical expert in product development and solution positioning, you will play a key role in providing pre-sales technical support for complex products/applications/solutions. This includes developing and reviewing high-level designs, conducting product demos, proof of concept set-ups, trainings, and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical assistance to sales teams in product development and solution positioning
  • Develop and review high-level design documents, conduct product demos, proof of concept set-ups, trainings, and workshops
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide pre-sales technical support for complex products/applications/solutions
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of structured cabling systems
  • Provide product and application training to end-users, channel partners, and system integrators
  • Offer post-sales technical expertise during installation, implementation, testing, and maintenance of structured cabling systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or relevant field
  • 8+ years of experience in structured cabling system design
  • Current industry certification (BICSI RCDD, BICSI DCDC, BICSI OSP, FTTH) is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Window Unix OS, Web programming, Database, Visio, or CAD Drawing
  • Familiarity with local building, electrical, and data-communication codes and regulations (NEC, CSA, IBC)
  • Knowledge of local structured cabling standards (ANSI/TIA 568 series, ISO 11801 series, ANSI/TIA-942-B)
  • Working knowledge of Data Center functional areas (MDA, HDA, EDA, ZDA, EF) and data center industry trends
  • Subject matter expert in Cabling Solutions and product ranges across assigned Concentration(s)
  • Knowledge of telecommunication TCP/IP, networking
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Test procedure and field test equipment for copper and fiber knowledge required
