Permanent Fulltime Pipe Welders Role

We are seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join our Production Team in Osborne, SA. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the construction of complex Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigates.

About the Opportunity:

  • Undertake tasks and duties as directed by production supervision and trades trainers within your bounds of current competence.
  • Attend and complete relevant on-the-job training as required.
  • Properly maintain materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Strive to continuously improve teamwork, processes, and effectiveness in the work area.
  • Adhere to management practices and policies.

About You:

  • Extensive experience of GTAW pipe welding techniques is essential.
  • Isometric drawing knowledge is highly desirable.
  • A strong safety focus and enhancing the site safety environment is paramount.
  • Strong timekeeping abilities and excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • Clearances: A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
