Job Opportunity: Fabrication and Welding Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fabrication and Welding Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality educational services, training, assessment, and guidance to students. They will also be involved in consultancy services to industry/community clients.

  • Develop and deliver high-quality training programs in fabrication and welding techniques.
  • Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Fabrication and Welding.
  • Trade qualifications to a minimum of Certificate III.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116).
  • Strong expertise in advanced welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and gas welding.
  • Comprehensive fabrication skills.
  • Understanding of current fabrication industry trends, knowledge, and cultural practices.
  • Familiarity with the MEM Training Package and its application in vocational education.
  • Proficient in using digital tools to support training delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
