We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Lawyer to join our team at Gorilla Jobs, a leading recruitment agency in Australia. As a Family Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, handling complex Family Law matters, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of Family Law matters, including Domestic Violence, Property Settlements, and Child Custody disputes.
  • Handle all aspects of cases, from drafting affidavits and court applications to representing clients in court and during settlement negotiations.
  • Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective legal advice and representation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in Family Law legislation and case law, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice and representation to clients.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to practice in Queensland with Family Law experience (2-3 PAE in private practice).
  • Expertise in Domestic Violence, Property Settlements, Divorces, and Child Custody.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Proven experience in court appearances and drafting legal documents.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
  • Strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution abilities.
