Family Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Lawyer to join our team at Women's Legal Service QLD. As a Family Lawyer, you will play a critical role in providing legal support to women in family law, domestic violence, and child protection matters.

About the Role

  • Undertake direct client services to WLSQ clients in family law, domestic violence, and child protection
  • Work with a team of paralegals and solicitors as part of the Brisbane Case Work Team
  • Advocate for clients by appearing and representing them in court

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in family law
  • Experience in Community Legal Centres is highly valued
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and well-developed relationship management skills
