Job Description

We are seeking a Commercial Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to support our Commercial Team with the servicing of commercial partners and key stakeholders through administrative duties. The successful candidate will also be involved in supporting our program of community initiatives and commercial events.

This role will involve daily contact with corporate clients to ensure they receive timely and outstanding customer service. We value employees who demonstrate commitment to our Values which are:

Key Responsibilities

The Commercial Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Partnership Account Executive with the timely execution of partners' contract entitlements and deliverables, before, during and after their event(s). This will include assisting to collate partners' information, collateral, advertising, signage and other sponsorship related materials.

The role will also involve assisting with new partner onboarding, collecting, co-ordinating and collating materials for post campaign reporting, coordinating and booking partners' hospitality and ticketing requirements, and assisting with Cox Plate Carnival Charity Pin activation and being the support liaison for race meetings.

Requirements

To effectively perform in this role, the successful candidate must have the following skills, experience, qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in client facing roles ideally within a commercial or sporting landscape.
  • Experience in event coordination preferred.
  • Experience dealing with corporate clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • A self-starter with exceptional time management skills, detail oriented and ready to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Act as an effective team member, to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to work Friday night and Saturday race meetings.
  • Effective use of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Power Point, Excel and Word.
