We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at the Department of State Growth. As a key member of our Small Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of projects, programs, and services aligned with our priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, implementation, and promotion of projects, programs, and services aligned with our priorities.
- Prepare high-quality written documentation, including ministerial responses, briefing notes, and project plans.
- Build relationships and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and maximize the effectiveness of Government initiatives.
- Represent the Department to undertake consultation, negotiation, and contract management activities with stakeholders.
- Manage and resolve urgent and often conflicting priority issues, together with the preparation of complex correspondence and advice.
- Lead and coordinate a team of internal staff and/or external providers to undertake grant assessments and provide consistent advice, support, and skills coaching to clients.
- May be required to supervise a small team, including responsibility for effective management, coaching, and mentoring.
- A current driver's license.
- Relevant qualification in business, project management, or other field applicable to the role.
