Key Responsibilities- Perform planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Implement health and safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing breakdowns, providing feedback, and suggesting improvements to processes and equipment.
- Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers, ensuring seamless operations.
- Collaborate with senior maintenance technicians to share knowledge, best practices, and expertise.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be based on-site, allowing you to respond promptly to equipment issues. Your responsibilities will include performing a range of planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is working safely and efficiently. You will also respond to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. Additionally, you will contribute to long-term improvements and work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks and general building maintenance.
About the TeamOur Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We are a technically minded team, comprising excellent team players guided by experienced leaders. We work together to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment, and we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.
Requirements- Formal trade qualifications: Certificate III in Electrotechnology with a current electrical trade license or Certificate III in Engineering/Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner).
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience in fault finding within Material Handling Equipment/Automation systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
- Experience working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations.
- Experience with computer maintenance systems (CMMS).
- Experience with sortation machines.
- Experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
- Experience with print and apply machines.
