Job Description

As a Senior Water and Wastewater Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and sustainability of our water and wastewater services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Traveling to and throughout remote locations to manage the operation, maintenance, and improvement of water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting data to regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
  • Leading and delivering capital works and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define and achieve project objectives.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior staff to build capability in water and wastewater services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in water and/or wastewater operations.
  • Membership of Engineers Australia (or equivalent Professional Institution) is desirable.
