Financial Services Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to join Empire Group as a Senior Financial Services Lawyer. As a key member of the team, you will advise on Australia financial services licensing, financial regulatory changes, and other related areas. Our clients include big 4 banks and other financial institutions.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role for experienced lawyers at the Associate or Senior Lawyer level. You will work closely with partners and become a trusted advisor to our clients. You will have the freedom to take on new projects, work autonomously, and have client responsibility.

Responsibilities

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Advising on Australia financial services licensing
  • Advising on financial regulatory changes
  • Advising on regulated financial products
  • Advising on product disclosure requirements under the Corporations Law
  • Advising on AML/CTF, privacy issues, and credit law
  • Advising on cyber security
  • Advising on electronic banking and payments
  • Advising on fin-tech and block-chain projects

About You

We are looking for lawyers with at least 3 years of experience in financial services law. You should have excellent technical skills, drafting and advisory skills, client management and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a committed and high-performing team. You should also be able to mentor and motivate junior members of the team.
