Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst for International Emerging Stores Payments Finance

This role will play a key business partner role on the International Emerging Stores Payments (IESP) Finance team, supporting Amazon's Australia Payment business.

We're looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team, providing analytical support for senior leadership and developing and reporting on weekly financial and operational performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership skills, with superior attention to detail, project management skills, and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the IESP Finance team in long and short-term financial planning and controllership of monthly financial reporting
  • Develop and report on weekly financial and operational performance metrics
  • Provide analytical support for senior leadership and the business teams
  • Manage multiple competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  • 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems
