**Finance Partner Wanted for Amazon's Australia Payment Business**

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Analyst to join our International Emerging Stores Payments (IESP) Finance team at Amazon Australia Company Pty Ltd.

The successful candidate will play a key business partner role, primarily supporting our Australia Payment business, including Cobranded Credit Card, Installments, Buy Now Pay Later, Gift Cards, Shop with Points, Cost of Payment, and other local payment products.

  • Long and short-term financial planning
  • Controllership of monthly financial reporting
  • Developing and reporting on weekly financial and operational performance metrics
  • Providing analytical support for senior leadership

This position will be a key risk and controllership gateway for the Payments business, requiring strong communication and leadership skills.

As a member of our Finance team, you will work closely with business teams, so excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
  • 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analysis
  • 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis
  • 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
  • Six Sigma Black Belt
