Care and Learning Assistant

This role provides an opportunity to support the educational services provided to students in a small, close-knit semi-rural community.
The successful candidate will work under supervision and direction to perform tasks that are carried out in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting teachers within an educational program by undertaking specific support tasks or the coordination of the support function.
- Supervised health and wellbeing support tasks, medical intervention support tasks, or other specialized student/teacher support roles.
- Technical tasks that require a sound knowledge of basic technical and/or scientific principles.
- Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks.
- Demonstrated capacity to work and collaborate with others in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, including high-level oral and written communication skills.
- Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
- Commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.
- Certification and/or qualifications of up to three years may be required at this level.
- Ability to work independently with clear priorities and procedures.
