Culinary Leader Role

Opal HealthCare is seeking a skilled and experienced culinary leader to join their team as a Regional Relief Chef. This role will involve providing coverage across Sydney's Inner and South West regions, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

The successful candidate will possess a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, have a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Head Chef in Aged Care or similar settings, and hold Food Safety Supervisory Certification.

Key responsibilities include creating hero moments for customers, preparing nutritious meals and snacks in line with the food services program, and ensuring detailed compliance with the food safety program.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent leadership skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be committed to bringing joy to those they care for, aligning with Opal HealthCare's purpose.

Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
