Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled and driven individual to join our team as a Cloud Engineering Lead. In this role, you will help design, implement, and manage innovative infrastructure solutions that support our growing business. Your primary focus will be on managing cloud services, primarily within Azure, to improve system performance, scalability, and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Robust Infrastructure Solutions: You will work closely with our development teams to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions that align with business needs and best practices.
- Manage Cloud Services: You will be responsible for managing cloud services, primarily within Azure, to improve system performance, scalability, and flexibility.
- Utilize IaC (Infrastructure as Code): You will utilize IaC tools such as ARM, Bicep, or Terraform to manage infrastructure configurations and ensure consistency across environments.
- On-Premises Servers and Virtualization Platforms: You will oversee on-premises servers and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix), ensuring system stability and optimization.
- System Performance and Troubleshooting: You will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively optimize capacity and scalability.
- Security Measures: You will implement security measures to protect systems and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Technical Leadership and Mentorship: You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven Experience with Cloud Infrastructure Management: You will have proven experience with cloud infrastructure management, particularly Azure (IaaS, PaaS).
- Strong Background in Managing On-Premises Servers: You will have a strong background in managing on-premises servers, virtualization technologies (VMware, Nutanix), and Microsoft applications.
- Expertise in System Monitoring and Performance Optimization: You will have expertise in system monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Security Best Practices: You will have experience with security best practices and risk management in both cloud and on-prem environments.
- Familiarity with Automation and Scripting: You will have familiarity with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Understanding of ITIL Processes: You will have an understanding of ITIL processes, including incident, change, and configuration management.
