Capital Project Financial Manager

We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our team in Brisbane, where they will play a crucial role in the financial management of significant capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:- The successful candidate will build strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- They will validate capital project accruals and ensure alignment with invoicing processes.
- Collaboration with asset accountants and quantity surveyors is essential for success in this role.
- The ideal candidate will contribute to improving financial management practices and support ICT system enhancements and internal controls.
- Preparation of detailed financial reports on cashflows, accruals, and asset accounting is also a key responsibility.
- Active participation in team meetings to address project finance and asset management issues is expected.
- A tertiary qualification in finance, accountancy, commerce, or economics is required.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or similar financial systems is essential.
- Expertise in infrastructure financial management is highly valued.
- Advanced Excel skills and analytical abilities are necessary for success in this role.
- Strong organisational and communication skills are also required.
