We are seeking an experienced and skilled Painter/Blaster Supervisor to join our team at Monadelphous in Newcastle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and supervision of daily activities of work crews, ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of work crews to ensure efficient and safe project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Coordinate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
- Develop and implement effective planning and scheduling strategies to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience in the Mining industry.
- Trade qualified with a strong understanding of painting and blasting operations.
- NACE certification highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Excellent working knowledge of workplace health and safety, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Proven ability to manage multidiscipline work crews and coordinate resources to meet project requirements.
- Sound proficiency in the use of MS Suite (Outlook, Word & Excel).
- Open Drivers Licence and proof of right to work in Australia.
