Job Title: Mainframe Systems Architect

">Job Description

The role of the Mainframe Systems Architect is to design, implement and maintain mainframe systems to meet business needs. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement mainframe architectures to support business growth
  • Develop and maintain processes for software configuration management (SCM) and change management
  • Administer and maintain Endevor groups and associated environments
  • Configure and manage process groups to support development and release workflows
  • Design, create and maintain mainframe deployment pipelines
  • Integrate Endevor with ServiceNow for change management and deployment tracking
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong technical background in mainframe and Endevor administration
  • Experience with DevOps practices in a mainframe setting
  • Proficiency in SCM tools and processes for a mainframe environment
  • Knowledge of COBOL, JCL and other mainframe languages/tools is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
