Overview

Urgent requirement of Mainframe Engineer - Perm/ Contract - Melbourne

Responsibilities
  • Have experience as a Mainframe Engineer with strong expertise in Endevor administration and software configuration management
  • Administer and maintain Endevor groups and associated environments
  • Configure and manage process groups to support development and release workflows
  • Design, create, and maintain mainframe deployment pipelines
  • Integrate Endevor with ServiceNow for change management and deployment tracking
  • Manage and maintain the data dictionary to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Oversee software configuration management (SCM) processes for mainframe applications
  • Demonstrate strong experience with Endevor administration and configuration, including DevOps
  • Hands-on experience in mainframe development and operations
  • Proficiency in SCM tools and processes for a mainframe environment
  • Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe languages/tools is preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience in large-scale mainframe modernization or automation initiatives
  • Exposure to pipeline automation in mainframe environments
Qualifications
  • Strong technical background in mainframe and Endevor
  • Experience with DevOps practices in a mainframe setting
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Employment details
  • Duration: Permanent / 6 months with possible extension
  • Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders only
